What I know but --dread hearing -- is that the writing is the very first step before an author has to become expert and full-time marketing agent. Nancy, I know how much work you do to promote Love and Protest, I see part of your effort on social media and it is impressive and I'm happy to know that YOU are happy with the path you chose. Marla I appreciate the work you do to inform, introduce, promote writers. You are both "on the case" and we all benefit from your input.
Thank you so much. Currently I am excited about my podcast on Substack—I chose to read my stories from the short story collection I wrote instead of pursuing publication. It has been extremely satisfying in several ways but I do have some hurdles to climb inre building subscribers. One step at a time I say, meanwhile I’ve begun Season 2 and am writing a book that is ummm, autobiographical? maybe. Workshopped some of it at this past SBWC.
